Founder & Principal Attorney
Ilan Lavian is the founder and principal attorney of Lavian P.C., a Los Angeles law firm built on a simple idea: consumers deserve a powerful advocate in their corner. After years representing the nation's top investment banks, Fortune 500 companies, private equity funds, and major financial institutions at some of the most prestigious corporate law firms in the country, Ilan made a deliberate choice — to use that same caliber of legal skill on behalf of the people who need it most.
Today, Lavian P.C. stands on the other side. The firm represents individuals and classes of consumers harmed by corporate misconduct — from deceptive business practices and privacy violations to personal injury. Ilan brings a rare perspective to plaintiff-side work: he knows how large corporations think, how they litigate, and where their vulnerabilities lie. That experience is now an advantage for his clients.
Across his career, Ilan has helped recover over $50 million on behalf of clients.* He works with leading co-counsel firms and subject-matter experts to take on complex, high-impact cases against companies of all sizes.
While in NYU Law School, Ilan served as assistant to Professor Bryan Garner — the renowned legal writing scholar, lexicographer, and co-author with Justice Antonin Scalia. He also interned in the chambers of Judge Esther Salas of the Federal District of New Jersey. These experiences instilled a commitment to precision, clarity, and persuasive advocacy that defines the firm's work product today.
Attorney
Eden Lavian brings extensive experience across consumer law, data privacy, personal injury, and business law. She is a passionate litigator who thrives on the work that wins cases — drafting persuasive briefs, digging deep into case law, and building arguments that hold up under pressure.
Before her career as an attorney, Eden spent three years as a case manager and legal research assistant. That experience shaped how she practices today: she learned early that a client who feels heard and well-served is a client who can trust the process, and she has carried that standard into every matter since.
Consumer justice is one of Eden's central commitments. She believes that ordinary people deserve the same caliber of representation that corporations take for granted, and she brings that conviction to the firm's consumer protection and privacy work.

Head of Intake
As Head of Intake at Lavian P.C., Seb is one of the first points of contact for prospective clients. He responds promptly to inquiries, reaches out to incoming leads, and walks people through the general shape of the legal process so they know what to expect. He also gathers the information and supporting evidence the firm needs to investigate and evaluate a potential case.
Beyond client communication, Seb supports the firm's day-to-day operations — creating, updating, and managing client profiles across the firm's CRM platforms, keeping documentation organized, and making sure follow-ups happen on time.
Prospective clients consistently praise his professionalism and technical fluency, particularly his ability to help them locate, capture, and submit the evidence a case review depends on. Through steady communication and consistent follow-through, he keeps the intake process moving smoothly from first inquiry to the next stage of the firm's review.
